This is a float position across acute care and inpatient rehab units , with a primary need for weekend coverage . Requirements Active OT License (KS or Compact if applicable) BLS Certification (AHA) Experience in acute care required Inpatient rehab experience preferred Comfortable working in a float role across multiple units Assignment Details Schedule: Day Shift (8-hour shifts) Weekend coverage required (Saturday & Sunday) Duration: 8 weeks (short-term assignment) Patient Load: 8–10 acute patients OR 4 rehab patients EMR: Meditech Facility Overview Float across multiple units (acute + rehab) Team of 11–12 OTs daily Equipment includes: Hoyer lifts EZ Stands BITS system Xcite devices Growing inpatient rehab unit with new technology: Barihab system BURT rehabilitation device Strong team culture with recent employee recognition awards Important Notes Weekend-focused assignment No call required Dress Code: Scrubs (any color, professional appearance) Must be comfortable with varied patient acuity and float coverage
