Role: State Head (Skill Development & Entrepreneurship), Meghalaya Experience: 8-10 years Salary: Up to 13 LPA Note: Candidates must be from the Northeast region of India. _____________________________________________ About the role: We are seeking a dynamic and values-driven State Head for Meghalaya to join our leadership team. This is a full-time role reporting directly to the Deputy Lead Operations. You will be responsible for providing overall operational direction, managing key stakeholder relationships, and driving the expansion of our programs, cities, and student outreach within the state. Roles & Responsibilities: Operational Excellence: Coordinate with Training Partners to ensure high-quality implementation of programs through adherence to our 7-step methodology and SOPs. Program Implementation: Oversee recruitment, training, and transition to employment initiatives in accordance with funding limits and program specifications. Growth & Strategy: Direct the expansion of cities and programs while meeting all targets and timelines for scaling up. Stakeholder Management: Act as a credible representative with employers, training providers, and government officials to manage and grow partnerships. Risk Management: Identify areas of risk and implement necessary steps to reduce vulnerabilities in state operations. Team Leadership: Ensure appropriate staffing and grow the team as required to support the state's growth strategy. Education & Experience: MBA or Postgraduate from a reputed university/institute. 8–10 years of total business work experience in the skilling sector . 5–6 years of direct leadership experience is required. Proven track record in managing large-scale operations across multiple sites. Skills & Mindset: Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills in English and local languages of Meghalaya ( Khasi, Garo, and Pnar ). Stakeholder Relations: Experience negotiating with external vendors and managing senior-level government or state partner relationships. Technical Proficiency: Comfortable leveraging digital tools and technology for operational efficiency. Mindset: Entrepreneurial, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of targets without constant guidance. Financial Acumen: Experience with financial planning and efficient budget management.
