Embedded Software Application Engineer

We are looking for an Embedded Software Application Engineer with experience in automotive software development to join a dynamic engineering environment focused on advanced vehicle technologies and continuous product innovation.In this role, you will contribute to functional development across key automotive domains , supporting early-phase product development, system engineering activities, and high-quality software deliveries. Responsibilities • Perform functional development activities including requirement breakdown, software design, implementation, documentation, testing, and verification • Contribute within a specialized technical domain such as Diagnostics, Powertrain Control, Combustion, Engine After-treatment, Electro-mobility, Vehicle Systems, HMI, Mechatronics, or Control Theory • Support system engineering and feature delivery within cross-functional technical teams • Integrate and coordinate deliveries from multiple stakeholders • Ensure software quality, verification readiness, and release maturity • Participate in technical roadmap development and early concept phases • Collaborate across organizational units and support competence development and business initiatives Required Profile • 2–5 years of relevant experience in embedded software development within the automotive industry • Experience in OBD function development , exhaust emission control, or strong interest in developing competence in this area • Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset , comfortable working with limited or evolving information • Self-driven and able to plan and execute tasks independently • Strong collaboration skills and ability to build effective working relationships • Customer-focused approach with commitment to continuous improvement
