The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Cadillac seeking experienced Master Schedulers. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targets. Balance production capacity with demand to optimize resource utilization and meet customer delivery dates. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, production, procurement, and logistics to ensure schedule feasibility and alignment. Monitor inventory levels of finished goods and key components, adjusting schedules to prevent stockouts or overstock. Identify, analyze, and resolve scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks to maintain production flow. Analyze forecast accuracy and adjust the MPS accordingly to minimize disruptions and optimize inventory. Communicate schedule changes, potential risks, and performance metrics to relevant stakeholders. Recommended Qualifications Extensive experience (5+ years) in master scheduling or production planning within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for production planning, scheduling, and inventory control. Demonstrated ability in demand forecasting, capacity planning, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for data interpretation and decision-making. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate across multiple departments (e.g., production, sales, procurement). Bonus Qualifications Experience with Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) systems (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis, OMP). Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). APICS CSCP certification.
