Key Responsibilities Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping. Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows to optimize space utilization and material flow. Manage and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, operational procedures, and performance standards. Implement and maintain accurate inventory control systems, conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories to minimize discrepancies. Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinating with logistics and production teams. Maintain a safe and secure warehouse environment, adhering to all OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Monitor and manage warehouse expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource allocation. Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales departments to ensure seamless supply chain integration. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in warehouse operations management within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS) and best practices. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application in warehousing. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse setting. Bonus Qualifications - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. - Certification in a relevant field such as APICS (CPIM, CSCP) or Six Sigma. - Proficiency in Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation or advanced configuration. - Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures. - Experience managing a 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) relationship.
