Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targets. Balance production capacity with demand to ensure optimal resource utilization and on-time delivery. Collaborate with sales, production, procurement, and logistics to align production plans with business objectives. Monitor schedule adherence, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain production flow. Analyze material availability and lead times, integrating them into the production schedule to prevent shortages. Optimize inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to minimize costs while meeting demand. Lead weekly scheduling meetings to review performance, address issues, and finalize upcoming production plans. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of experience in master scheduling or production planning within a manufacturing environment. Proven proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) for planning and scheduling. Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and supply chain principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate across departments. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or similar process improvement methodology. Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software (e.g., Kinaxis RapidResponse, SAP APO, Oracle ASCP). Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel modeling for scenario planning. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification. Project management experience, particularly in system implementations or process optimization initiatives.
