Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation Pittsfield, Massachusetts Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (March 23, 2026 – June 22, 2026) Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,593.66 Schedule: Day Shift | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Work Schedule: Monday – Friday Every other Saturday required 32 Hours Guaranteed per week (40 hours not available) Position Overview Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an inpatient rehabilitation setting in Pittsfield, MA. The Physical Therapist will provide direct patient care to individuals recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, helping them regain mobility, strength, and functional independence. The therapist will collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans designed to improve patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and functional mobility assessments Develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans Implement therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation interventions Provide gait training and mobility assistance Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and recovery strategies Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation staff to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system Utilize rehabilitation equipment and assistive devices to support patient mobility Equipment & Modalities Used Therapists may work with equipment including: Splints and orthoses Prosthetic devices Wheelchairs and mobility aids ADL equipment Therapeutic modalities used in inpatient rehabilitation Required Qualifications Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist License BLS Certification (AHA) Minimum 2 years of current Physical Therapy experience Recent inpatient experience required Preferred Qualifications Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR system Scheduling & Assignment Details 32-hour weekly guarantee Weekend rotation required (every other Saturday) Holiday coverage may be required as part of rotation Important Notes Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered Shift accommodation requests will not be accepted All scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application Submission Requirements Candidates must provide: Massachusetts PT License Updated skills checklist (within 1 year) One supervisory reference from the last two years Complete work history and permanent address Requested time off (RTO) at time of submission Reliable personal transportation (required) Why Consider This Assignment Competitive weekly compensation Opportunity to work in a busy inpatient rehabilitation environment Collaborative multidisciplinary care team Exposure to a variety of inpatient rehabilitation cases
