Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for manufactured products. Perform functional, performance, and reliability testing on production lines and prototypes. Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development and production teams for resolution. Develop and maintain automated testing scripts and tools to improve efficiency. Document test procedures, results, and defect reports clearly and accurately. Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality of new products. Monitor product quality metrics and identify trends for continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements during testing. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer) or related field. Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW). Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. Hands-on experience with various testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers). Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies. Experience with data analysis and reporting for test results. Bonus Qualifications - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software and methodologies. - Familiarity with automated optical inspection (AOI) systems. - Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles. - Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for test automation. - Understanding of hardware description languages (HDLs) like VHDL or Verilog.
