The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Rockford that are seeking skilled Reliability Engineers. Key Responsibilities Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for equipment failures and recurring issues. Develop and optimize Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM) strategies and schedules. Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) studies. Analyze equipment performance data, OEE, and maintenance records to identify reliability trends and opportunities. Implement reliability improvement projects and best practices across manufacturing operations. Provide technical expertise and support for maintenance, operations, and engineering teams. Participate in the design, selection, and commissioning of new equipment to ensure inherent reliability. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering. 3-5+ years of experience in reliability engineering or maintenance in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with reliability methodologies (RCA, FMEA, RCM) and predictive maintenance technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting asset performance data. Experience utilizing CMMS/EAM systems for asset management and maintenance planning.
