Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products. Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications. Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances and corrective actions. Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate disposition procedures. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures. Conduct first article inspections (FAI) and provide feedback on new product runs. Maintain calibration records for inspection equipment and ensure proper functioning. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in a manufacturing quality inspection role. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Expertise in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM). Familiarity with quality control methodologies (e.g., SPC, Lean, Six Sigma) and ISO 9001 standards. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection results and non-conformances.
