Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to verify product specifications. Interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and quality control plans to ensure adherence to design requirements. Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, including acceptance/rejection status and non-conformance details. Identify, quarantine, and report non-conforming materials or products to production and quality management. Initiate and follow up on corrective actions for identified quality defects. Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment according to established procedures. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Demonstrated experience using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Familiarity with quality control methodologies (e.g., SPC) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001). Strong attention to detail and observational skills for identifying defects and non-conformances. Ability to accurately document inspection results and generate non-conformance reports.
