Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective actions as needed. Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure product compliance. Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final product inspections according to quality plans. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and support process improvements. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Demonstrated ability to use precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Solid understanding of quality control methodologies and standards (e.g., ISO 9001). Strong attention to detail and observational skills for identifying defects. Basic computer literacy for data entry and report generation. Bonus Qualifications Experience with CMM programming (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso) or advanced vision systems. ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification. Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies, 8D problem-solving, or FMEA. Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab) for data analysis and SPC.
