Key Responsibilities Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products for quality conformance. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and quality specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Document inspection results, non-conformances, and maintain accurate quality records. Identify and tag non-conforming products, initiating appropriate containment procedures. Perform first-article inspections and provide feedback to production. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Recommended Qualifications Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Strong understanding of quality control principles and inspection methodologies. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformances. Experience with documenting inspection results and generating quality reports. Prior experience in a manufacturing quality inspection role. Bonus Qualifications Advanced proficiency in GD&T interpretation. Experience operating CMMs or other automated inspection equipment. Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles. ASQ certification (e.g., Certified Quality Inspector, Certified Quality Technician).
