Power BI Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, design, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards for business users. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business reporting requirements into data models and visual analytics solutions . Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources including SQL databases, cloud platforms, and APIs . Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Work with Azure cloud data services to manage and process large datasets. Optimize Power BI dashboards and data models for performance, scalability, and usability . Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decision-making. Maintain data governance and data quality standards across dashboards and datasets. Provide training and support to internal users on Power BI dashboards and reporting tools. Stay updated with the latest Power BI, Azure data platform, and analytics technologies . REQUIREMENTS Technical Skills Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, BI Developer, or Data Analyst. Strong proficiency in: Power BI Desktop Power BI Service DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and managing data. Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and integrating data from multiple sources. Cloud & Data Platform Skills Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud platform, preferably including: Azure SQL Database Azure Data Factory Azure Data Lake / Storage Understanding of cloud data architecture and data pipelines. Experience connecting Power BI to cloud-based data sources. Additional Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with Python for data analysis or automation is a plus. Familiarity with data governance and data security principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience with data automation, API integration, or AI-driven analytics is an advantage. Identify opportunities to apply AI to enhance business processes, customer experience, and decision-making. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field. Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or Technical Lead in data analytics. Microsoft certifications in Power BI and Azure are highly desirable.
