Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet production schedules and minimize carrying costs. Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control policies and procedures. Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure material availability. Implement strategies to minimize inventory obsolescence, damage, and shrinkage. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in inventory control or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP and WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Proven ability to analyze inventory data, optimize stock levels, and implement inventory accuracy programs. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, cycle counting, and physical inventory processes. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma certification or similar continuous improvement methodology. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification. Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI) for inventory optimization and forecasting. Experience with warehouse automation technologies (e.g., AS/RS, AGVs). Project management experience, particularly with WMS or ERP system implementations.
