Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) San Antonio, Texas Acute Care / Hospital Setting 13-Week Assignment Day Shift | Thurs–Mon | 40 Hours Pay Package Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,714/week Travel compensation packages may include a mix of taxable pay and stipends , depending on eligibility. Position Overview Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an acute care assignment in San Antonio, TX . This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including medical, neurological, orthopedic, and stroke patients , in a fast-paced hospital environment. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Treat patients across acute care settings, including bedside evaluations Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient-centered care Educate patients and families on treatment plans and progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation Assist with program development and departmental initiatives Requirements Active Texas SLP License ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) REQUIRED BLS Certification (AHA) Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology Strong clinical and communication skills Assignment Details Schedule: Thursday–Monday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) 40 hours guaranteed Acute care hospital setting Patient population: adults (with some NICU exposure) Focus on stroke, neuro, ortho, and general medical cases
