Key Responsibilities Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through cycle counting and physical inventory processes. Develop and implement inventory control procedures and policies to optimize stock levels and minimize waste. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demands, and recommend adjustments to purchasing and production. Manage and reconcile inventory discrepancies, investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions. Oversee the effective utilization of inventory management systems (e.g., ERP/MRP) to ensure data integrity. Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehousing teams to ensure smooth material flow and availability. Identify and manage obsolete, slow-moving, and surplus inventory to minimize holding costs. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory control within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced inventory management software. Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control principles (e.g., JIT, FIFO, ABC analysis) and best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive process improvements.
