Key Responsibilities Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to verify product specifications. Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances and corrective actions taken. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and quality standards to ensure compliance. Identify and report product defects, deviations, and trends to production and quality management. Initiate and manage the quarantine or rejection of non-conforming materials. Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment as required. Recommended Qualifications Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Strong understanding of quality control principles and manufacturing processes. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify visual and dimensional defects. Basic computer skills for data entry, report generation, and using quality management software.
