Key Responsibilities Maintain and ensure high availability of critical IT and OT systems supporting manufacturing operations (e.g., MES, SCADA, production servers). Administer and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including industrial networks, to ensure seamless data flow and connectivity. Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect manufacturing data, intellectual property, and operational technology assets. Provide expert-level technical support for hardware, software, and peripherals across the production floor and administrative environments. Develop, implement, and test robust backup and disaster recovery strategies for all critical manufacturing data and systems. Collaborate with engineering and production teams on IT/OT integration projects, system upgrades, and new technology deployments. Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, network diagrams, and operational procedures. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in managing and maintaining Windows Server environments (2016+). Demonstrated experience with virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V). Strong understanding of network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, and VPNs. Familiarity with Industrial Control Systems (ICS) or Operational Technology (OT) environments. Experience implementing and managing backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions. Proficiency in scripting (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and system administration tasks. Bonus Qualifications Experience supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP in a production environment. Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) networks, industrial control systems (ICS), or SCADA. Understanding of IT/OT convergence and industrial cybersecurity principles. Experience with IoT platforms or edge computing in a manufacturing setting.
