Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control systems and procedures to ensure accuracy. Monitor and analyze inventory levels, identifying and addressing discrepancies, obsolescence, and slow-moving stock. Plan and execute regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories, reconciling variances. Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehousing teams to optimize material flow and storage. Establish and enforce inventory policies to minimize waste, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. Utilize ERP/MRP systems to track inventory movement, forecast demand, and generate reports. Implement strategies to improve inventory turns, reduce carrying costs, and prevent stockouts. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory management within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel for data analysis. Strong understanding of inventory control methodologies (e.g., JIT, Lean, ABC analysis) and demand forecasting. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; APICS certification preferred. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team to ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification. Proficiency with advanced data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Experience with WMS or ERP system implementation projects. Demonstrated ability to negotiate with suppliers and logistics partners.
