Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize inventory levels to support production schedules and minimize carrying costs. Develop and implement robust cycle counting programs and conduct periodic physical inventories to ensure accuracy. Analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, root causes, and implement corrective actions. Oversee the receiving, storage, and issuance of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Implement and maintain inventory control policies and procedures in compliance with company standards. Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehousing teams to forecast demand and manage material flow. Identify and manage the disposition of obsolete, slow-moving, and damaged inventory. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory control and management, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced inventory management software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions. In-depth understanding of inventory management principles, including cycle counting, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and warehousing best practices. Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with experience in training and developing staff.
