Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations (servers, networks, storage). Administer and support specialized manufacturing systems, including MES, SCADA, and PLC connectivity. Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies for both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments. Ensure robust backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans for production data and systems. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide rapid resolution to minimize production downtime. Collaborate with engineering and production teams on IT integration for new equipment and process improvements. Perform regular system audits, patching, and upgrades to maintain system security and optimal performance. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy management. Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V) and enterprise storage solutions. Strong networking skills including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewall administration. Familiarity with manufacturing-specific software (e.g., MES, ERP integration) and supporting OT infrastructure. Demonstrated ability in scripting (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and system management. Knowledge of IT security best practices, data backup, and disaster recovery strategies. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Operational Technology (OT) or Industrial Control Systems (ICS). Familiarity with SCADA, PLC, or HMI systems. Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP). Experience supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or ERP integration with production.
