The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Montague seeking experienced IATF Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities Maintain and improve the IATF 16949 Quality Management System to ensure ongoing compliance. Lead problem-solving activities (e.g., 8D) for internal and external quality issues, driving root cause analysis and effective corrective actions. Develop and approve APQP documents including Control Plans, FMEAs, and PPAP submissions for new and revised products. Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure adherence to IATF 16949, customer specific requirements, and internal procedures. Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve product and process quality. Liaise with customers on quality concerns, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using quality tools and methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce defects. Recommended Qualifications Deep understanding and practical experience with IATF 16949 standard requirements. Proficiency in Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC). Demonstrated experience with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa). Certified IATF 16949 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Quality) or a related technical field. Minimum of 3-5 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
