Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes. Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical failures in production machinery and infrastructure. Provide technical expertise and support to maintenance teams for electrical system repairs and preventative maintenance. Lead and manage electrical engineering projects, including upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new equipment. Ensure all electrical systems comply with relevant safety standards, codes, and industry regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E). Optimize existing electrical systems for improved efficiency, reliability, and reduced downtime. Develop and maintain accurate electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation for plant equipment. Recommended Qualifications Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI development for industrial automation. Strong understanding of industrial power distribution, motor controls, and VFDs. Proficiency in electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic design and panel layout. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems, machinery, and control circuits. Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and machine safety standards. Bonus Qualifications Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and industrial automation systems. Familiarity with SCADA/MES systems and industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet). Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies. Proficiency in electrical CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
