Team Leader / Senior Residential Conveyancer Location: Leicester (Hybrid Working Available) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive (DOE) About the Role A well-established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Conveyancer / Team Leader to join and lead its expanding Residential Conveyancing team in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to take on a leadership role while managing a varied and busy caseload. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing the team, maintaining strong client and referrer relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of the residential property department. Key Responsibilities Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, including new-build transactions Managing re-mortgages, equity release, and transfer of equity matters Leading, supervising, and developing members of the conveyancing team Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and referrers Ensuring high standards of client care and communication throughout transactions Maintaining compliance with all regulatory and professional standards Using case management systems effectively to manage files and workflows Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to team growth Requirements Proven experience as a Senior Conveyancer within a busy residential property team Strong experience handling a full range of residential conveyancing transactions independently Previous team management or supervisory experience is essential Excellent business development and relationship management skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good IT skills and experience using case management systems A proactive and collaborative approach to team leadership Formal qualifications (CLC, CILEX, or Solicitor) are desirable but not essential Benefits and Progression Competitive salary depending on experience Hybrid working arrangements available Opportunity to lead and develop a growing residential conveyancing team Support towards professional qualifications (CLC, SQE, or equivalent) Clear opportunities for career progression within the firm Supportive and collaborative working environment How to Apply To apply or find out more, please send your CV to info@legalprorecruitment.com and a member of the recruitment team will be in touch.
