Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.). Conduct regular EHS inspections, audits, and risk assessments of manufacturing operations. Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees and contractors. Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures relevant to manufacturing. Manage hazardous waste streams and ensure proper disposal in accordance with environmental regulations. Prepare and submit required EHS reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. 2-5 years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.). Proven ability to conduct hazard assessments, incident investigations, and implement corrective actions. Experience developing and delivering EHS training programs to diverse employee groups. Bonus Qualifications Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) designation. Experience with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Gensuite, Intelex, Sphera). Lead Auditor certification for ISO 14001 or ISO 45001. Experience applying Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to EHS processes.
