Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for finished goods and components. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product management to gather market intelligence and refine forecasts. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to identify demand drivers. Monitor forecast accuracy, identify significant variances, and implement corrective actions. Lead or participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, presenting demand plans. Manage the demand impact of new product introductions, promotions, and product discontinuations. Utilize demand planning software and statistical modeling techniques to generate forecasts. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in demand planning and forecasting within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning software. Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills, including advanced Excel proficiency. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional engagement. Solid understanding of S&OP processes and inventory management principles. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field. Bonus Qualifications Advanced proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). APICS CPIM or CSCP certification. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis. Experience with statistical modeling or machine learning techniques for demand forecasting. Familiarity with specific advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis, O9).
