Key Responsibilities Perform precise calibrations on a wide range of manufacturing test and measurement equipment (electrical, mechanical, dimensional, etc.). Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation in accordance with quality management systems. Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust malfunctioning instrumentation to bring it within specifications. Manage and track equipment calibration schedules to ensure timely completion and prevent production delays. Develop, review, and update calibration procedures and work instructions. Ensure all calibration activities comply with internal quality standards, ISO requirements, and industry regulations. Operate and maintain primary and secondary calibration standards and reference equipment. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in Metrology, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical field. 1-3 years of experience performing calibration of various types of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE). Solid understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and traceability. Proficiency in using calibration software and accurately documenting calibration results and certificates. Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001. Bonus Qualifications Experience with CMMS or dedicated calibration management software. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on instrumentation. Advanced understanding of measurement uncertainty principles. Experience with automated calibration systems or test equipment.
