Note: Must have prior experience in personal injury litigation support, legal file management, and assisting with discovery, medical records, and case preparation in a law firm setting. Job Description Order and follow up on medical, billing, and radiology records Prepare initial disclosures and notice of filing affidavits Send discovery to clients and assist with gathering responses and documents Communicate with clients regarding treatment, case status, and outstanding items Help track client medical treatment and maintain updated case information Save and organize e-filing notifications and case documents Keep physical and electronic files organized and up to date Assist paralegals and attorneys with preparation for mediations, depositions, and trial Support overall case progression by handling litigation support tasks accurately and efficiently Assist with additional case-related and administrative duties as needed Qualifications 2+ years of legal assistant, junior paralegal, or litigation support experience preferred Personal injury experience strongly preferred Experience ordering medical, billing, and radiology records Familiarity with initial disclosures, affidavit filings, and litigation file organization Strong attention to detail and follow-through Comfortable communicating with clients in a professional and empathetic manner Able to work on-site in Houston, Texas Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple moving parts in a busy practice Why You Will Love Working Here You will be part of a team that values attitude, initiative, professionalism, and strong execution.
