Tax Senior Manager Location: Bellevue, WA Work Arrangement: Hybrid Compensation: $110,000 – $165,000 + bonus Overview A growing public accounting and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Tax Senior Manager to join its Bellevue office. This role will oversee client engagements, manage tax professionals, and provide strategic tax planning and compliance support to a diverse client base. The position offers an opportunity to work with closely held businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and growing companies across multiple industries while mentoring staff and helping expand client relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage and review complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals Lead tax planning initiatives and identify strategies to improve client tax positions Oversee multiple client engagements and ensure timely delivery of services Serve as a primary contact for client tax matters and advisory discussions Supervise and mentor tax staff and managers Review workpapers, tax filings, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance Monitor changes in federal and state tax regulations and advise clients accordingly Assist with practice development and identify opportunities to expand client services Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA license required 8+ years of public accounting tax experience Prior experience supervising tax professionals and managing client engagements Strong technical tax knowledge across corporate, partnership, and individual tax matters Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and client relationship skills Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines simultaneously Advanced knowledge of tax research and compliance tools
