Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, GibbsCAM) for generating G-code. Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T. In-depth knowledge of CNC lathe operations, tooling, and workholding principles. Proven experience in optimizing machining processes, troubleshooting, and reducing cycle times. Solid understanding of various material properties and their impact on machining parameters. Bonus Qualifications Experience programming multi-axis turn-mill centers. Proficiency with advanced CAM software features, such as simulation or post-processor customization. Familiarity with CMM programming or metrology equipment. Ability to design or modify tooling and fixtures using CAD software.
