Key Responsibilities Perform routine and non-routine calibration of manufacturing equipment and instrumentation. Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation in accordance with quality management systems. Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust precision measurement equipment to ensure accuracy. Develop, implement, and validate calibration procedures and work instructions. Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry standards (e.g., ISO, NIST traceable) and internal quality requirements. Manage and track calibration schedules, ensuring timely completion to minimize downtime. Assist in internal and external audits related to calibration processes and data. Recommended Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Metrology, Electronics, Instrumentation) or relevant technical certification preferred. 1-3 years of experience in calibration, metrology, or a related technical role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of measurement principles, calibration standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025), and various types of test equipment. Proficiency in mathematical calculations and data analysis relevant to metrology. Demonstrated ability to accurately document calibration results and maintain detailed records. Familiarity with calibration management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or dedicated calibration management software. Familiarity with ISO 17025 or other relevant quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001). Ability to perform minor repairs or advanced troubleshooting on test and measurement equipment. Understanding of measurement uncertainty analysis.
