Key Responsibilities Perform routine and non-routine calibrations on a wide range of manufacturing equipment and instrumentation. Document calibration results accurately, maintain detailed records, and generate calibration certificates. Troubleshoot, adjust, and make minor repairs to equipment that fails calibration standards. Manage and maintain calibration standards and reference equipment, ensuring their traceability to national standards. Adhere strictly to established calibration procedures, quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 17025), and safety protocols. Identify and report out-of-tolerance conditions, initiating corrective actions and follow-up as necessary. Assist in the development, review, and improvement of calibration procedures and methodologies. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in Metrology, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 1-3 years of experience in an industrial or laboratory calibration environment. Demonstrated understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO 17025). Proficiency with a wide range of test and measurement equipment and calibration software. Strong mathematical and analytical skills for data interpretation and problem-solving. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced metrology equipment such as CMMs, optical comparators, or vision systems. Knowledge of ISO 17025, GMP, or FDA regulations relevant to calibration. Proficiency with calibration management software (e.g., Beamex, IndySoft, Blue Mountain RAM). Strong electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
