With a team of around 45 employees, our Service Center based in Porto is developing a dynamic nearshore business, offering the French and European markets an environment of excellence and high potential. Cloud Architect This is your mission Are you passionate about shaping cloud strategy and designing scalable, secure, future‑ready architectures? Then this position is for you. As a Cloud Architect , you will be responsible for defining cloud architecture standards and driving cloud adoption and migration initiatives within a complex international ecosystem. Build side: Define and design cloud‑architecture solutions aligned with business objectives, security needs, and regulatory requirements. Deliver architectural blueprints, design patterns, and reference frameworks for development teams. Drive migration roadmaps for applications transitioning to internal cloud platforms. Advise teams on cloud‑native design, APIs, DevOps, data analytics and AI/ML integration. Support evaluation, prototyping and validation of emerging technologies and cloud tools. Run side: Monitor external SaaS portfolios and assess maturity and risk levels. Enforce cloud governance standards, security controls and compliance frameworks (SCA, SAST, DAST, GDPR). Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and provide rapid, creative solutions. Communicate progress, risks and recommendations to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Contribute to cross‑functional committees and support operational metrics definition for cloud solutions. This is your background You have at least 5 years of experience designing, migrating and operating production workloads in demanding cloud environments. You enjoy working on distributed systems, driving technological transformation and innovating with modern cloud‑native solutions. You are looking for an environment where your expertise influences strategy and where collaboration drives impact. This is your expertise: Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or IBM Cloud – designing and operating production systems. Containerization & IaC: Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform, Ansible . Distributed system architectures, OOP/OOAD, scalability & resiliency patterns. CI/CD, DevOps, cloud‑native and microservices architectures. Secure development lifecycle: SCA, SAST, DAST, CSPM . Governance & compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR). Nice to have: IBM Cloud knowledge, OpenStack, cloud certifications, exposure to financial services, awareness of Data Science.
