Key Responsibilities - Prepare and review journal entries for accuracy and completeness. - Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets. - Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes. - Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed. - Aid in the preparation of financial statements and management reports. - Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. - Participate in inventory count procedures and related cost accounting analyses. - Collaborate with operational departments to understand manufacturing costs and variances. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks Enterprise) and advanced Excel skills. Understanding of Cost Accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation. Experience with month-end and year-end close processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
