The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Cadillac region seeking Test Engineers. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for manufacturing processes and equipment. Perform hands-on testing of manufactured products and sub-assemblies to verify functionality, performance, and adherence to specifications. Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Develop and maintain test documentation, including test procedures, reports, and defect logs. Implement and refine test methodologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and coverage. Participate in the qualification and validation of new manufacturing equipment and processes. Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and potential quality issues. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout the testing process. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Proven experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases for manufactured products. Familiarity with various testing methodologies, including functional, performance, regression, and system testing. Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, TestStand). Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001). Ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development and manufacturing teams to resolve issues. Bonus Qualifications Experience with SQL for database querying and validation. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python for test automation. Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) principles. Experience with CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) systems. Understanding of Lean manufacturing methodologies.
