Key Responsibilities Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs. Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards. Manage supplier corrective action requests (SCARs) and track their effectiveness. Review and approve supplier documentation, including control plans and PPAPs. Monitor supplier performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve supplier-related quality issues. Qualify new suppliers and assess their manufacturing capabilities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives with key suppliers. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field. Proven experience in supplier quality management, auditing, and corrective action processes (e.g., CAPA, 8D). Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100). Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools. Experience with manufacturing processes and materials relevant to the industry. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Bonus Qualifications - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping). - Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) software. - Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt). - Knowledge of various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, PCB assembly). - Experience with supplier development and auditing programs.
