Key Responsibilities - Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper supporting documentation. - Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. - Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, adhering to established deadlines. - Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment application. - Participate in inventory costing and valuation, including variance analysis. - Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports. - Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. - Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks Enterprise) and Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles. Experience with inventory valuation, variance analysis, and standard costing. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
