Shop Foreman | Allegan, MI Salary Range: $64,000 - $97,000 depending on experience Are you a skilled professional with a passion for excelling in shop foreman? Key Responsibilities Oversee daily shop floor operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules. Supervise and mentor shop floor employees, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and conducting regular inspections. Monitor equipment functionality, coordinate maintenance and repairs, and ensure optimal machine performance. Implement and enforce quality control standards, inspecting work in progress and finished products. Manage inventory of materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste. Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to resolve deviations. Communicate effectively with management, other departments, and the shop floor team to ensure alignment and problem resolution. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including the ability to motivate and guide shop floor personnel. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on operational efficiency and quality control. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear instruction and reporting. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures within a manufacturing setting.
