Key Responsibilities Oversee daily shop floor operations and ensure production schedules are met. Manage, train, and mentor a team of production staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, enforcing safety regulations and procedures. Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the manufacturing process. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, and material shortages. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement. Implement and improve shop floor processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with engineering and management to discuss production capabilities and challenges. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of production workers to meet quality and production targets. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality control procedures. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and address production issues promptly. Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and operating manuals. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
