Key Responsibilities Oversee daily shop operations and ensure production targets are met. Supervise, train, and mentor shop floor employees, assigning tasks and monitoring performance. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently and effectively. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting. Proficiency in production scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource allocation. Bonus Qualifications - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. - Certification in relevant trade skills (e.g., welding, machining, electrical). - Proficiency in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for production tracking. - Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior staff. - Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices.
