Key Responsibilities Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Train and mentor shipping and receiving team members, providing guidance and support. Manage inventory levels for incoming and outgoing goods, performing regular cycle counts. Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team. Proficiency in using shipping software and basic computer applications. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one. Basic understanding of inventory management software beyond a basic ERP system. Familiarity with international shipping regulations and documentation. Proven ability to train and mentor junior team members.
