The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Coopersville region seeking Quality Inspectors. Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured products. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances and deviations. Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials or products. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and quality specifications. Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for defective products and processes. Conduct in-process, first-article, and final product inspections. Recommended Qualifications Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Proficiency in using a variety of precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM). Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC). Experience with non-conformance reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Excellent attention to detail and strong observational and analytical skills. Knowledge of relevant industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
