The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Mason seeking experienced Press Operator / Setups. Key Responsibilities Set up and adjust manufacturing presses, including dies, fixtures, and material feeds, according to production specifications. Operate press machinery to produce parts, monitoring machine performance and product quality throughout the run. Perform routine quality checks on finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure adherence to blueprints and tolerances. Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues on press equipment. Load and unload raw materials, components, and finished goods from press machines. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and operational guidelines. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine job requirements. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience operating and setting up various types of presses (e.g., hydraulic, mechanical, stamping). Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine setup specifications. Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality control. Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment and performing minor adjustments. Commitment to following safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
