Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and test new packaging solutions for manufactured products. Optimize existing packaging for cost efficiency, material reduction, and improved protective qualities. Collaborate with R&D, production, marketing, and supply chain teams on packaging requirements and integration. Conduct validation and qualification of packaging materials and processes to ensure quality and compliance. Troubleshoot packaging line issues and implement corrective actions to maintain production efficiency. Research and evaluate new packaging technologies, materials, and equipment to enhance product protection and sustainability. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. 3-5+ years of experience in packaging development or engineering within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and a strong understanding of various packaging materials (e.g., plastics, paperboard, glass). Experience with packaging performance testing (e.g., ISTA, ASTM) and validation protocols. Demonstrated ability to manage packaging projects from concept to production launch, including cost optimization and timeline adherence.
