Key Responsibilities Perform welding operations according to blueprints and specifications. Inspect welds for quality, defects, and adherence to standards. Set up and operate welding equipment, including GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW. Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment to ensure optimal performance. Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols. Select appropriate welding materials and consumables for specific jobs. Conduct routine maintenance on welding machinery and tools. Document welding procedures, test results, and production data. Recommended Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding is preferred. Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) and ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge of welding safety procedures and equipment maintenance. Ability to perform quality control checks on welds and troubleshoot welding issues. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
