Emergency Veterinarian Sign-on bonus up to $75,000 + relocation assistance available About the Role A well-established emergency and specialty veterinary hospital in the Albuquerque area is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join its collaborative team. In this role, you will provide high-quality emergency care for patients presenting with urgent medical needs while working in a supportive, team-based environment. Responsibilities include: Providing care for emergency and critical cases Triage and stabilization of incoming patients Assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans Managing hospitalized patients Overseeing veterinary technicians implementing treatment plans Performing emergency procedures and surgeries Delivering excellent patient and client care About the Hospital This hospital provides emergency and specialty veterinary care with a focus on emergency medicine, critical care, and collaboration across clinical teams. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree Active veterinary license (or ability to obtain) in the state of employment DEA license or eligibility Experience in emergency medicine preferred Internship training or prior emergency experience strongly recommended Compensation Compensation is competitive and based on experience and credentials .
