Senior ServiceNow Integration Engineer (Freelance)

Levata powers how enterprise companies manage and service their technology in the field — from the devices running on warehouse floors to the technicians dispatched to fix them. Our platforms serve some of the largest names in retail, food service, and logistics. We're a small team that builds and ships fast, and we're looking for a ServiceNow engineer who wants to own something real. Tasks This is a hands-on engineering role, not an admin role. You'll be the ServiceNow expert at Levata — building and maintaining the certified integrations that connect our field service and asset management platforms to enterprise customer ServiceNow environments. You'll walk into a live, Store-certified app already handling enterprise traffic and a second certification in flight. There's real work to do from day one, clear ownership, and direct visibility with leadership. Requirements Build and maintain certified ServiceNow apps that connect Levata's platforms to customer environments — business rules, scripted APIs, automated tests, configuration UIs, and everything in between Design how data flows in real time between ServiceNow and our platforms — work orders, job status updates, asset data, and more Lead the ServiceNow Store certification process for our FSM Dispatch app — TrueView is already certified, FSM is next Architect how Levata's hardware asset data (scanners, printers, tablets across 1,700+ customer locations) syncs into customer ServiceNow environments Be the internal expert on ServiceNow best practices, upgrades, and integration patterns. Requirements: 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development — you write business rules, scripted APIs, and integrations regularly Proven experience building integrations between ServiceNow and external platforms (REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, bidirectional sync) Experience building scoped apps — you understand the constraints and requirements of apps built for distribution Experience writing automated tests within ServiceNow CSA certification + at least one of: CIS-ITSM, CAD, or CIS-FSM Bonus: Experience taking a ServiceNow app through the Technology Partner Program (TPP) certification process Background in the Field Service Management module (work orders, dispatch, technician management) Familiarity with asset or hardware management integrations in ServiceNow Experience building custom IntegrationHub spokes and Flow Designer automations Comfortable with modern REST APIs and authentication patterns on non-SN platforms Experience with Now Assist or other ServiceNow AI features Background in enterprise retail, food service, or logistics customers Benefits Real ownership from day one — you're not one of ten ServiceNow engineers. You're the ServiceNow engineer. Live production impact — our certified apps are handling real enterprise customer traffic now Modern engineering culture — we use AI-assisted development, move fast, and don't have layers of bureaucracy Remote role. Send your resume and a brief note covering: The most complex ServiceNow integration you've built — what systems, what broke, how you fixed it Your certifications Whether you've been through the TPP certification process
