Key Responsibilities Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and COGS to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, specific to production volumes and expenses. Prepare detailed financial reports and performance dashboards for operational management, highlighting key manufacturing KPIs. Conduct variance analysis on production costs, labor, and material usage, explaining deviations from budget and standard costs. Evaluate capital expenditure requests for new machinery, equipment, and facility upgrades, performing ROI and payback period analyses. Support inventory valuation, analysis of inventory turns, and identification of potential obsolescence risks. Partner with production and operations teams to identify cost reduction initiatives and efficiency improvements. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles (e.g., standard costing, overhead allocation). Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with large dataset manipulation and analysis. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
