Financial Controller Location: Greater Boston Area (Hybrid) A private investment-backed, multi-entity operating platform is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to support continued growth and acquisition activity. This role will work closely with executive leadership and play a key part in financial reporting, integration, and operational finance across a portfolio of businesses. Role Overview Title: Financial Controller Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid with some travel) Employment Type: Full-Time Reporting To: Platform CEO and Executive Leadership Compensation: Competitive base salary + performance bonus; full benefits package; potential equity participation Key Responsibilities Lead consolidated financial reporting across multiple operating entities Drive post-acquisition financial integrations Perform detailed financial analysis and KPI reporting Manage cash flow, forecasting, and liquidity planning Coordinate audits and ensure regulatory compliance Oversee annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes Support ERP management and financial systems optimization Participate in M&A due diligence and financial modeling Manage lender relationships and assist with treasury functions Oversee payroll coordination and related controls Qualifications CPA strongly preferred 5+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience Experience in multi-entity or acquisition-driven environments Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting expertise ERP experience (NetSuite, Sage, or similar) Advanced Excel skills Experience in high-growth or private-equity-backed organizations preferred
